Funeral Celebrant

I have deemed it a privilege to gently guide many families through the sadness of the death, a privilege I have committed to for the past 15 years.

Working in the industry of caring for families as a Funeral Director I now take the role as a Funeral Celebrant, working both independently and in conjunction with many Funeral Homes on the Gold Coast and Northern NSW.

This is a challenging position which involves many emotions when families struggle to come to terms with the loss of a loved one.

It is just as important to celebrate the end of life as it is to celebrate the beginning.

Dear Robert,

Just to say thank you seems not enough.

Yesterday, with your usual class, charm, warmth and considerate way, you conducted such a beautiful service that I know my Mother would have been so pleased with.  Just as she wanted it with you there reading out the words that she wanted the family to hear.

It has been such a hard week and yesterday, one of the hardest days for me, and for all the family to have to go through.

You did everything perfectly and I was so impressed with Kim and the way you both conducted the service with such respect for my Mother.

It had the class, simplicity and elegance that I wanted for Mum and that I knew she would have liked.

Now I have to move forward in my life without her, how to do that, I am not sure.  It is just a day at a time.

I will, as always, be highly recommending your services to everyone, along with Kim and Simplicity.
