MEET ROBERT SIMMONS

Hi, I’m Robert Simmons. I’m a full-time Marriage Celebrant and Master of Ceremonies, and someone who genuinely loves what I do. I’ve always believed that a wedding ceremony should feel relaxed, personal and full of meaning — and that’s exactly the experience I aim to create for every couple I work with.

 

I’m a proud family man with two grown children who I adore, and becoming a grandfather has been one of the greatest joys of my life. One of the biggest honours I’ve ever had was officiating my daughter’s marriage in May and now I’m a father in law and a very proud grandfather to baby William.

Moments like that remind me just how special this role truly is.

 

Over the years, I’ve been lucky enough to marry hundreds of couples across the Gold Coast, Northern NSW, and beyond. My couples often tell me I have a calm, organised and friendly approach — someone who helps settle nerves, adds a little humour when the moment calls for it, and makes the whole experience feel easy and enjoyable from start to finish.

 

Whether it’s an intimate elopement or a big celebration, I put my heart into creating a ceremony that feels like “you.” I love getting to know my couples, telling their story well, and guiding them through a day they’ll remember for all the right reasons.
